Beschrijving
The first line manager is part of the Production Management Hoegaarden and is responsible for the optimal operation of the brewery and filling department. He/She also reports to the Packaging Manager Hoegaarden. The First Line Manager coordinates, motivates and coaches the team in order to achieve the predetermined KPIs and departmental objectives in terms of safety, service to other departments and the quality of the finished product. These must be achieved at an optimal cost, productivity and with the best production standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Focuses on safety within the brewery.
- Identifies and takes action to remediate unsafe conditions and incidents.
- Organising, coordinating and following up the production of the hot block, cold block, filtration and packaging.
- Contributes to the identification of improvement plans of the brewery.
- Ensures the performance as defined in the daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and communicates the adjustment actions at the meetings provided for this purpose.
- Motivates the team to achieve the required KPIs.
- Regularly evaluates the training programs of all team members and records them using the existing tools.
- Performs root cause analyses (together with the maintenance department) to address the root causes of problems, identifies and makes the appropriate process adjustments when necessary.
- Manages staff scheduling, including arranging for the replacement of absent employees on the next shift.
- Supports the implementation of innovations and improvement actions.
- Participation in and support of key projects (such as VPO, ERP, etc.).
Profiel
Profile:
• University level or equivalent through experience.
• Good leadership competencies with an emphasis on coaching and
communication.
• In-depth knowledge of the brewing and packaging process.
• Strong organizational skills, attaches great importance to
respecting deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving.
• Flexible – team player.
• Languages: good knowledge of Dutch and English.
