Packaging at Agristo is automated but not effortless. After your training, you’ll take the reins as a packaging operator, handling everything from start to finish, including:
- Setting up various computer-controlled machines accurately, as different products require different packaging.
- Monitoring quality because customers expect their potatoes to be safely packaged.
- Spotting even the smallest malfunction and resolving it promptly to keep the machines running as they should.
- Replacing film rolls as needed to ensure continuous production.
- Regularly cleaning the machines and adjusting them as required.
- Once you have your packaging lines under control, you’ll assist fellow Potatoholics where needed, fostering a supportive team environment among operators, team leaders, and colleagues.
- You can often be found on the forklift, transporting, loading, and unloading various items.
Profiel
- Preferably, you hold an A2 diploma. A technical background is a plus. However, qualifications aren’t everything—experience, motivation, and general skills matter just as much.
- You have experience with forklift operations.
- A technical role in the food industry appeals to you. Experience with automated production lines or strong computer skills to quickly master them earns you bonus points.
- You’re willing to work in a weekend shift, both in day shift and night shift.

- Toezicht houden op het functioneren van de machines en toestellen en indien nodig eenvoudige interventies uitvoeren
- De instellingen van de machines (kleppen, vijzels, ...), controleautomaten of meetapparaten aanpassen
- Productiegegevens van installaties opvolgen, analyseren en bijsturen
- De toevoer van machines of installaties en de doorstroming van grondstoffen of producten controleren
- Gegevens voor productieopvolging registrerenDe informatie doorgeven aan de betrokkenen
- De staat en de netheid van de toestellen (weegschaal, maalmachine, kookkuip, ovens, ...) en van de werkpost controleren en onderhouden
- Stalen nemen van stoffen of producten, een referentie geven en voor analyse registreren
- De productiegegevens selecteren en de parameters instellen (hoeveelheid, dosering, mengeling, ...)
- De verpakking en etikettering van producten controleren (luchtdichtheid, gewicht, vervaldatum) of manueel verpakken
- Vleeswaren, groenten, ... en voedingsproducten controleren
- Onderdelen, machine-uitrustingen, ? monteren of demonteren
