Beschrijving
As Maintenance Technician Mechanical you will maintain and repair all production equipment in order to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and safely to minimize equipment downtime.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance
· Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment
· Support the installation of new equipment
· Ensure all repairs are documented
· Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
· Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly
· Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
· Comply with all procedures, regulation and policies applicable.
· Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined.
· Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs
· Working on call, outside regular hours
Profiel
· High school diploma
· Mechanical knowledge and experience
· Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene and safety requirements are required.
· Fluently Dutch or English
· Computer skills required.
· Experience in working in repair and maintenance of machinery in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
· Experience with working in a team.

- De conformiteit van de werking van de installaties verzekeren (standaardinstellingen, veiligheid, milieu, ...)
- De werking van het materiaal, de instrumentengegevens (druk, debiet, temperatuur, ...) en de kritieke punten (slijtage, smering, ...) controleren
- De opvolggegevens van interventies registreren en de informatie doorgeven aan de betrokken dienst

- Technische ondersteuning verlenen aan de afdelingen productie, kwaliteit, onderhoud, ...

- Preventieve of correctieve onderhoudsinterventies bepalen volgens de aard van de werkzaamheden (inwerkingstelling, productiewijziging, ...) of de onderhoudshistoriek
- Het preventieve onderhoud van de mechanische uitrustingen uitvoeren (schoonmaken, smeren, bijstellen, aandraaien, ...)
